Classworks announces the release of 5.8.1

On April 18, 2008, Classworks released Classworks 5.8.1. The release includes several content updates and something very exciting ….NEW Import features! We are also proud to announce a partnership with NComputing. This is BIG news for many schools! Classworks 5.8.1 is the first Classworks release to be NComputing compatible.

What to expect with 5.8.1 ……..  

New Content
A fresh new look! Thirty-five applications, totaling 501 activities, were updated to Macromedia Flash. Of these activities, 334 now have brand-new graphics! These applications have had their look and feel redeveloped, their sounds converted for improved quality, and a new Help functionality added to make the activities easier for the students to navigate.

New and Improved Import Utility!
You asked and we delivered! The Classworks import utility now has the ability to automatically create classes and enroll students with just a few mouse clicks when importing high stakes test results and enrollment data from your student information system.
NComputing – New partnership!
Classworks is now compatible with NComputing's X and L series devices. Please see http://support.classworks.com for our Classworks with NComputing documentation.

Benchmark Assessment - Updated
The Classworks Benchmark Assessment has had the link to curriculum improved by updating the adaptive algorithm so that Classworks now delivers an even better learning path for each student.

How to get the update ……

Classworks 5.8.1 is now available for download to all customers with current active support contracts.

A DVD copy is also available upon request for current Curriculum and Comprehensive support contract holders.
