Job Overview

The Account Manager partners with schools and districts to implement the Classworks solution successfully. They are responsible for securing the renewal for approximately $1M in business annually. They build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders. In addition, they oversee the professional development and implementation plans for each account.

What you’ll do

  • Become a Classworks expert and maintain product expertise by participating in ongoing product training and professional development.
  • Oversee the transition of a school/district from a prospect to a customer, including scheduling and managing planning meetings, supporting onboarding, and working together with districts to create a plan for implementation and training.
  • Provide excellent, solution-oriented customer service at all times

How you’ll do it

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders in customer districts.
  • Establish and maintain positive site-level relationships with the person responsible for Classworks in the building.
  • Attending state and local conferences as part of relationship building
  • Schedule monthly check-ins and provide insight into the health of the implementation, areas for improvement, and areas for celebration in the monthly meetings.
  • Establish the objectives for using the program annually with the district and communicate these to all site stakeholders (needs analysis).
  • Create a professional development plan aligned to district objectives for each customer annually. Confirm throughout the year that this plan is meeting objectives
  • Confirm objectives for all training sessions and communicate these to the professional development specialists
  • Schedule training sessions and facilitate ongoing discussions with the professional development specialists
  • Debrief with the trainer after each training session
  • Provide all post-training follow-ups (using trainer template) and secure the next training session
  • Provide ongoing coaching in person and via videos, tutorials, emails, and phone calls to ensure the implementation is successful and help remove obstacles.
  • Anticipate issues with customers and proactively communicate these internally, and problem-solve solutions with the team
  • Successfully use the Customer Relationship Management system to manage accounts, ensuring accounts have all required documentation
  • Build teacher buy-in through a combination of teacher presentations and training
