Job Overview

The C&I Specialist works as a partner with schools and districts to implement the Classworks solution successfully. They provide onsite and virtual training, coaching, and account management that helps teachers and students maximize our comprehensive program. In addition, they provide product expertise during presentations, support successful pilots, and develop relationships with school and district decision-makers.

  • Two years of K-12 education experience that may include classroom teaching experience or related experience training on instructional technology solutions
  • Demonstration of high proficiency with technology
  • Strong ability to collaborate with team members in all departments
  • Superior communicator with the skills to engage with all types of educators, from superintendents to teachers
  • Ability to be goal-oriented and maintain structure and organization in a fully remote work environment
  • Outgoing, energetic, and positive attitude, and service-oriented approach to daily responsibilities
  • Ability to motivate a group in an adult learning environment

Skills & Qualifications

Product Training

  • Become a Classworks Certified Trainer and maintain product expertise by participating in ongoing product training and professional development.
  • Deliver engaging and effective onsite and virtual training to schools and districts
  • Deliver Classworks-related breakout sessions in partnership with customer districts at conferences; provide coaching to presenting educators as needed
  • Deliver training sessions at Classworks’ annual regional user group meetings.

Account Management

  • The C&I is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts as follows:
  • In partnership with the account executive, manage the transition of a school/district from a prospect to a customer, including scheduling planning meetings, supporting onboarding, working together with districts to create training and coaching plans, etc.
  • Maintain positive ongoing relationships with key stakeholders (principals and administrators) in customer districts throughout their lifecycle.
  • Join the account executive during monthly data meetings and provide insight into the health of the implementation, areas for improvement, and areas for celebration during the monthly meetings.
  • Monitor accounts each month using a combination of Classworks Insight dashboards, reports, and data exports. Provide ongoing coaching in person and via videos, tutorials, emails, and phone calls to ensure the implementation is successful and help remove obstacles.

Support of Sales Activities

  • This role is considered a partner to the sales executive role. Sales are the primary role of the sales executive, however, the C&I is the product and education expert for the state. They offer expertise and support when needed during the sales cycle, including
  • Providing product expertise during demos and presentations to prospects
  • Spearheading product training and support (onsite and virtual) during Classworks pilots for schools/districts looking to purchase
  • Attending state and local conferences to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Initiating ongoing communication with sales executives; understanding the goals and objectives of the sales executive in relation to their sales opportunities and supporting them to achieve those goals.
