Regional Sales Executive - NE Territory

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and competitive Sales Executive to sell our cloud-based intervention software to K-12 school districts in the US northeastern region. Sales Executive responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects in the assigned territory, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction. You'll play an integral role in helping our fast-growing organization reach revenue growth objectives.

What you'll be selling

We take pride in providing the most compelling intervention experience for teachers and students. Classworks is a cloud-based, comprehensive intervention solution that includes assessment, instruction, reporting, social-emotional learning, progress monitoring, and data visualizations. School districts use Classworks to support their most vulnerable students, mitigate learning loss, and provide equitable opportunities for all students to achieve grade-level proficiency.


  • Proven experience as a sales executive, experience selling a SAAS product is preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota
  • Proficient with CRM tools and web presentation tools
  • Experience using a CRM software to manage a pipeline is a plus
  • Ability to transfer passion for the product to an audience
  • Strong technical skills
  • Aptitude in delivering compelling presentations
  • Persuasive, excellent listener, goal-oriented, and eager to close sales, meet targets and increase revenue

Skills & Qualifications

  • Responsible for all stages of the sales cycle from lead acquisition to closing the deal
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through conferences, cold calling, networking, and working leads converted by marketing
  • Set up meetings with potential clients to determine pain points and convey how we solve their problems
  • Prepare and effectively deliver appropriate presentations virtually and in person
  • Maintain an updated pipeline of leads, opportunities, and potential deals in the company's CRM
  • Participate on behalf of the company in conferences and tradeshows
  • Host networking events and entertain prospective clients on behalf of the company
  • Negotiate and close deals, effectively overcoming obstacles and objections
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to effectively support the needs of prospective and current clients
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams
  • Competitive intelligence to effectively position Classworks against its competitors
