RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build new business throughout the state of Georgia
  • Pursue new sales prospects and manage the overall health of current accounts to ensure renewal.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team to achieve better results

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Live in the Georgia area and support Georgia territories
  • A self-starter with a passion for sales and helping to improve teaching and learning through technology
  • BS or BA
  • Five years of sales experience and/or education leadership experience
  • Demonstration of strong abilities with technology
  • Strong ability to collaborate with Classworks team members in all departments
  • Understand education market trends
  • Superior communicator with the skills to relate to all types of educators, from superintendent to teacher
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Office suite
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned territory and execute ongoing follow-through to ensure all goals are met
  • Outgoing and positive, team-focused attitude and service-oriented approach to daily responsibilities
  • Frequent travel (75% - 85%)
