Peachtree Corners, GA - August 10, 2018 - Classworks® by Curriculum Advantage, Inc., a best-in-class online intervention solution, released a number of upgrades for the 2018 - 2019 school year. The new enhancements include brand new activities available on any device, professional learning, and a more streamlined user experience.
New, engaging instruction available on any device
Classworks activities are now available to teachers and students on any device to accommodate the mix of devices found in today’s classrooms. Additionally, Classworks introduced new mathematics instructional videos. “We heard from teachers wanting additional resources to support teaching math standards with a focus on building conceptual understanding. Classworks’ new math instructional videos help students to learn and apply skills in real world situations,’ explains Jennifer Treichler, Vice President of Marketing. “Students will enjoy the characters and stories while learning. That’s the approach we take to all of our activities. Students need to learn the skills; we want it to be as fun and engaging for them as possible. That’s how you learn a skill for life.”
Game tutorials
Classworks individualized learning paths are designed for students to work independently on skills they are ready to learn. New tutorial videos are now available within their learning path assignments to help students who need more guidance on playing a game. Teachers also have access to the game tutorials.
Professional Learning
Classworks launched three new professional learning options for customers. Classwork Smartguide is free online training on best practices for using Classworks. The first online module, Classworks Kickstart, is available for teachers now, with more to come in fall/winter 2018. Classworks Connect virtual onsite coaching, also free to customers, and Classworks Navigator onsite professional learning are available to help teachers fully weave Classworks into their school year. A diverse professional learning catalog ensures that teachers receive the training they need in the most convenient and effective way for them.

Classworks streamlined the progress monitoring experience. It’s easier than ever for teachers to assign progress monitoring assessments and track progress. Live data dashboards and printable reports support teachers with monitoring the overall effectiveness of student interventions.
