Early Literacy Indicators‍

Classworks Reading Universal Screeners for grades K-3 measure early literacy skills in beginning readers. Now, you can easily view key Early Literacy Indicators for students who have taken the K-3 Reading Screener on the Student Screener Summary report. See, at-a-glance, which key literacy skills require more focus.

Early Literacy Science of Reading Assignments‍

Not only do you have the Early Literacy data available, but you can quickly take action on that data! Classworks now has Early Literacy Science of Reading assignments available. These instructional units address the key early literacy skills needed to become a successful reader. The assignments are comprised of activities aligned with the Science of Reading that focus on the reading, writing, critical thinking, and listening skills proven to help students reach higher levels of reading achievement.

‍Ready to Learn Statements in Present Level of Performance‍

View ‘Ready to Learn’ statements in each student’s Screening summary in Classworks. For each Reading and Math domain assessed, Classworks clearly states which skills students are ready to learn. If your students use Classworks individualized instruction, you have the confidence that each ‘Ready to Learn’ skill is addressed in their Individualized Learning Path. View these statements in Classworks by selecting view detail for a student and then selecting the Screening tab.

We’ve updated our evidence-based learning progressions for Reading and Math to ensure they are always in the most effective teachable order and aligned to the most current state standards.

You can view the specific objectives addressed in the Curriculum Sampling Progress Monitoring Report.

‍Updated State Standard Alignments‍

Classworks assessment and instructional items have been updated to reflect the most current state standards alignments.
