PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA – August 15, 2017 – Classworks® released several upgrades to its best-in-class online intervention solution. The new features more efficiently combine assessment data with state standards-based instruction to easily pinpoint and close learning gaps.

It’s now easier than ever for teachers to find and create instruction by state standards. Teachers can search Classworks’ aligned instruction and custom assessment items by state standards and easily add them to student learning paths and assessments.

Classworks instructional units have been restructured to ensure a tighter alignment to skills and state standards. In addition, teachers have access to over 150 redesigned activities, with 50 new activities being seamlessly added each month. New Classworks activities are responsive–adapting to any screen size, and include:

  • Easy navigation within the instruction

Powerful Assessment and Instruction Working Together

Classworks strives to deliver the most effective individualized learning experience with all of its highly regarded assessment partners. This week, Classworks optimized the way Individualized Learning Paths are generated using NWEATM MAP® assessment data. Lessons are automatically created and assigned to students based on the skills they are ready to learn in the NWEA Learning Continuum.

Renaissance® recently announced Classworks as the first Renaissance Growth AllianceTM partner. The collaboration means that Renaissance Star 360® assessment data and Classworks instruction seamlessly connect. This fall, students’ Star results will automatically generate Classworks instruction based on what they are ready to learn in the Renaissance Learning Progression. Read Renaissance’s full press release.

For teachers, Classworks’ close integration with assessment partners like NWEA and Renaissance means they no longer have to generate individualized assignments themselves, allowing additional time for monitoring and conferencing.

“The value of a subscription-based program like Classworks is that customers receive ongoing, instructionally-focused product enhancements,” says Debra Synatschk, Vice President, Customer Success Team. “In today’s classroom, Teachers not only teach their grade level standards, they are also challenged with closing gaps in the classroom. Our latest developments support teachers with a streamlined process to deliver high quality instruction at the learning level each student needs.”
